    You can use ICS internet connection sharing in win7, here is

    Using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing)

    i advice that you need to have 2 networks card in the host.

    Thanks a lot Mike - that installer kindly loaded the SweetIM search toolbar, and replaced search.sweetim.com as homepage and search tool instead of Google into all my browsers and Windows Messenger too - had to spend half an hour uninstalling it and running Malwarebytes to get rid of it.

    That's amazing. It didn't install anything like that on the machines I installed it on. It has been a while since I used it. I will have a look at it.

    I apologise if it caused you problems.

    Hmmm...the only thing I can find up to now is that they now use "Open-Candy". But I will keep looking.

    Still can't find any problems. I will install it and see what happens.

    No problem really Mike, it happens - I mentioned it as a warning - Sweetim is not viral, thankfully, just nearly so - a PITA :) CNET is usually reliable, and I did want to try connectify.

    It does not install that toolbar on my machine! There are also plenty of other people using it, even some here it seems;

    Connectify

    I am sure that if they had problems with toolbars etc they would have said so?

    Despite an extensive search, I can't find any mention of various toolbars in Connectify, the only references I can find are to "open-candy".

    I have no idea what happened there.

    My apologies for any problems it caused.
