    How do I change something in WinExplorer?

    I have had my Win7-64 since it came out. Something new just started in Win Explorer. That is, the column on the far right is expanded almost all the way across to the left, covering up the file names, size, etc. I can move it back to the right, but it is there each time I open WinExpl. There is something in that column, it says: Select a file to preview. Also, I have my view set to "Details".
    How can I keep this column to a minimum?

    Do you want it gone completely?
    You can drag it way over to the right, or you can select the show/hide preview pane right above it in the toolbar in the upper right.

    You have opened the preview pane. To close it, go to "Organise" in the Command bar;

    Preview Pane - Turn On or Off

    and click on "Preview Pane", or you can just "toggle" it on and off with this button;

    which is to the right of the command bar.
