I have Windows 7 Home Premium. I need to replace the motherboard.
Will I have to go thru Microsoft to re-register my OS? I initially used the Windows 7 32 bit upgrade version. Thanks for any advise.

Probably. Is the new motherboard completely different to the old one?
If you change a lot of hardware then you usually need to get another activation key from Microsoft.
