Any way to transfer programs from Vista to 7 after dual boot install?

    Noob here, obviously ..

But I installed Windows 7 64 with the dual boot option, and have Vista 32 as my regular OS. Is there any way to transfer the programs from the Vista partition over to the Win 7 partition without re-installing each and every program?

On a related note - is there a way to transfer my old desktop from Vista over to Win 7 just the way it is?

    No, there is not.

You should have done an upgrade install.

Other than that, you must re-install everything.

An upgrade wouldn't have been available due to the jump from x86 to x64. So you'll have to re-install everything and then do upgrades to future releases..
