Hi Terry,
Once you are able to get into Windows again, please do the following:
1. Downlaod, install and run
CrystalDiskInfo which will give us a health report on your disk. Post an image of the screen when it has run, and we can advise you further.
2. Open an elevated command prompt (cmd window) and type
chkdsk /f and hit enter.
You will be prompted whether you wish to schedule a disk check at next startup - select YES and then reboot the machine. Tell us the results of the chkdsk once it has completed.
