Earlier version of windows in boot menu
How can I get rid of "Earlier version of Windows" from the boot menu? The Boot tab of MSCONFIG does not show this entry.

thats rather odd...I always download and use EasyBCD:Download EasyBCD 1.7.2 - NeoSmart Technologies it lets you modify the bootloader directly and delete add entries to your choosing....its for the vista bootloader but I honestly believe that there is no difference between the two.

"Earlier version of windows" has appeared after EVERY install of 7, for me anyway.
now i have this odd problem. i have XP and 7 on different drives (not partitioned, separate HDDs). 7 loads itself by default with no option to boot XP, if i use the boot manager from the bios to load up my XP drive, it shows the OS selection menu. which boots whichever i select. the only problem is that neither OS knows the other exists. i mean XP says there's no 7, and 7 says there's no XP in the boot.cfg.
