Earlier version of windows in boot menu

How can I get rid of "Earlier version of Windows" from the boot menu? The Boot tab of MSCONFIG does not show this entry.

You can use EasyBCD to do it.

thats rather odd...I always download and use EasyBCD:Download EasyBCD 1.7.2 - NeoSmart Technologies it lets you modify the bootloader directly and delete add entries to your choosing....its for the vista bootloader but I honestly believe that there is no difference between the two.

EDIT:Lol Airbot it seems we had the same idea....

Huh I did a clean install and it didn't do it for me...another of those little bugs we hope that will be ironed out in the RTM and I assume that your using a non-messed-with copy of 7264 right?

"Earlier version of windows" has appeared after EVERY install of 7, for me anyway.
now i have this odd problem. i have XP and 7 on different drives (not partitioned, separate HDDs). 7 loads itself by default with no option to boot XP, if i use the boot manager from the bios to load up my XP drive, it shows the OS selection menu. which boots whichever i select. the only problem is that neither OS knows the other exists. i mean XP says there's no 7, and 7 says there's no XP in the boot.cfg.

confused yet? i am
