Windows 7 ultimate want open parts of news paper

I am useing windows 7 ultimate with sp1 and all the updates on my system.
The problem I am having is when I go to the newpaper on the web there is part of the paper that is not displayed it has a X in the corner of a space where the display from the paper is suppose to be. I checked on my xp system and this is showing the temp for the town the paper was for it is like a scrolling marque some times and just the temp. other times. I also have the same problem with some article in the paper doing the same thing. What would I need to do to get window 7 to display correctly I know this is a security feature but don't know how to overide this feature. My windows Xp works great on the paper.
    Any help would be appriated.

If you are using IE9, click on the little blue circle with the slash next to the address bar and "Turn off all filtering" for that site. The missing content may show up.

If that doesn't work, cick the littke "Broken page" icon next to it...

    Problem solved

Problem solved. I was running IE9 64 bit and the page needed adobe flash player to display the temperature on the newpaper web page. I switched to the 32 bit IE9
and downloaded flash player and everthing worked great. I could not find flash player for the 64 bit IE so I switched to the default 32 bit IE.
Problem solved. Thanks to all for the help you got me on the right track.
