Run program when device plugged in?

Hi there,

I've used Process Hacker to create a "service" that changes the Capabilities key corresponding to my Wi-Fi adapter so that it won't show in Safely Remove Hardware. This runs on startup and works fine until I take out the adapter and plug it back in; I then have to start the service up again. Is there a way in which I can make Windows automatically run a command when plugging in a certain device?

Thanks!

EDIT: I was able to use the service trigger feature of Windows 7 with the GUID "{AD498944-762F-11D0-8DCB-00C04FC3358C}".
