windows 7 x64 file renaming- all earlier threads did not help !

well, tried a lot of renaming tools, but they are all too old and do not work properly in windows 7 .

one of the problems is that most of my files are alredy named by windows like :

file (1) file (2) file (3) ........

all i want is to change this and add one or two digits: (01) or (001)

is there no native windows string to do this ??

the worst thing of the file renamers is taht they sort the files like:

blue1.mkv
blue10.mkv
blue2.mkv
blue3.mkv
blue4.mkv

so after renaming i got a total caos becase my files are out of the original order,

if it is a series of movies, i will watch them all wrong !!

BULK FILE RENAMER ir nice, but also dos not rename files as should - i canīt change what windos did wrong

please help me ??!!

You can change the way numerical sorting is done.

Numerical Sorting in Windows Explorer - Enable or Disable
