Shutdown button in start menu [Solved]

Hey, is there a way to add a "Are you sure?" to this button in the start menu ? So many times i click it when i meant to just lock my PC. And theres no way to stop it!

Or is there a way to remove the button and only use the drop box cos at least i won't click shutdown by accident then!

Hope you can help.

Hello TheFollower,

You could change the Start Menu power button to another action (ex: Lock) instead of "Shut down", and be able to select "Shut down" from the arrow menu instead when needed.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

If all you want to do is LOCK the PC hit the Windows key and the L key on the keyboard at the same time.
