Windows 7 - I deleted the desktop folder in my personal folder

Hi all

I deleted the desktop folder in my personal folder and my icons on desktop don t apear anymore now.

How can i put it back there ?

I'd try a System Restore.
Easy. No loss of files or anything.
Tutorial if you need it.
System Restore

Pick the newest restore point that was before you deleted the folder.

First, look in the recycle bin, if the folder is still there, right-click on it, and choose "Restore";

If that does not work for some reason, you can try to restore the system to a point before you deleted the folder;

And if that doesn't work, create a new user account for yourself. That should get the desktop folder back, but anything that was on the previous desktop will likely be gone unless it was also in the default/public user folders.

No. I had deleted it from there too and i have also turned system restore off.

As stormy suggested, i created a new use account, copied the desktop folder into a usb flash and then returned in my original account.
