how to disable preview thumbnail icons for video files

Hi all

I don t want to see any thumbnail for video files, but i want to see them for image and audio files.

what can i do ?

Theres no easy way of disabling thumbnails selectively for videos. You could just move videos into one folder separate from the pictures, and then change the view option to icons instead of thumbs.

Though Klite codec pack lets you disable thumbs by file extension. If you're comfortable with klite, you can give it a shot.

yes, my video files are in a separete folder and i have installed k-lite with the feature of disabling the related feature,

but there are still some formats that are shown as thumbnail in the tile mode of icons.

By the way, i have instaaled and using gom player and the km player.

Which formats?

Mp4, wmv and some 3gp

And you have disabled thumbnail generation for these extensions in klite and also enabled icon view in the video folder?

You can set view by template for the video folder.
