    Log on problem

Windows 7 Professional 32 bit Sp1 plus all the latest update.
    Microsoft Essentials.

When first installed Win 7 it went straight into Windows 7 but in the last few weeks it stops at a screen with my picture and I have to press space bar to continue.

How can I get it to boot straight into Windows as I originally installed it?

    Hello Walter.

It may be a good idea to run a full malware scan with MBAM, at the link below.

Do you mean you want to bypass your logon screen, ( a screen with my picture ), and go straight to your desktop, ( boot straight into Windows ), ?

If that is actually what you mean, please use this tutorial :
    Log On Automatically at Startup

Run the malwarebytes as suggested to you. Hopefully, that solves your problem.

If it does not, it could possibly be that your admin account is corrupted.
To ascertain that fact, create another admin account > logon to that new account > use the tutorial to enable Logon Automatically at Startup, and see if you have the same issue.

I have run the malwarebytes on all of my drives but that did not reveale any malware, I tried createing another Administrator logon, restarteded my PC but the same problem.
I think that I will just have to put up with it.

    Thanks for all your suggestions.
