Cursor and page goes crazy

Has anyone figured out why the cursor changes to a circle then the page moves any direction? Hit either mouse key and it stops for a short time. This is very exasperating.
Turning off the laptop does nothing for it.

This is a 32 bit HP

Try downloading Malwarebytes Anti Malware, let it update and run a full scan.

Boy, was that a mistake! After the program was installed I had a heck of a time fixing my computer so it would work from all the damage the program did

Did you save the Malwarebytes' .txt log? If you did, would you please copy and paste it?

That program does not do any damage, but it does remove malware which might have caused a lot of damage.

If you still have the log, then post it so Jacee and others can see what malware you had. They will be able to give you useful advice,

I downloaded and ran the program. It found 1000 errors but would only fix 100. To get the other errors fixed I would have to buy the program. How do I know the ;problem was fixed in the hundred? I wont know until I do some web surfing. I am not interested in buying your program. If it is malware Norton should find it. It seems to me that malware would be more destructive than this irritating feature of the cursor. It doesn't seem to hurt anything. Have a nice day.

It is not "OUR" program, it is an excellent and universally recognised anti-malware program.

It sounds like you downloaded something from a re-directed link, probably due to malware infection on your machine.

Malwarebytes does not ask you to purchase anything at all.

Sounds like your machine is badly infected with various things.

If you don't want help, then that of course is entirely up to you.

You have a nice day as well.

Malwarebytes

OK then if malwarebytes does not sell then the search must have been redirected. I had no reason to think anything different. All I did was go to the link I got from this forum. Whatever happened did not fix the problem any way. So why do you think this problem is a malware problem? I'll not click on a link next time I will go directly to the site. thanks
