64bit on Intel Atom

Intel Atom does not support 64x ?? I thought all processors did from some years ago and on!

I got a "This architecture is based on 64 bit computing, but your CPU does not support 64x" (or something) error while trying to install an a netboot LG X110

From wiki:

"x86-64 is so far only activated for the Atom 230 and 330 desktop models. N and Z series Atom models cannot run x86-64 code"

i dont know which one you have but i hope it answers your question

EDIT: ok i looked up your model on lg's website and if it indeed has the "Intel® Atom™ Processor N270, 1.6GHz, 533MHz FSB, 512KB L2 Cache" then i'm guessing its the N series so your out of luck, srry
