Please Help me with .dat files

I want to uninstall one of my software so that i can replace a better version of it. Unfortunately, there has this problem occur when I am uninstalling it.Name:  Capture.PNG
Views: 134
Size:  3.5 KB
I want to make it to to this file again so that I can uninstall the softwareName:  aw.PNG
Views: 134
Size:  7.4 KB
Please Help me.

Hello Jeamfeaterii, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You could download and merge the dat option in the tutorial below to fix this. It will restore the default associations for the dat file extension.

Go to Control Panel > Under "Programs" click the blue text "Uninstall a program"
The file you are trying to use is not an uninstaller. Its just a data file of data.
