    Size of display

Whenever I am away from the system for some time, the icons and text doubles in size and I am unable to read the text without scrolling back and forth. Why does this happen and how can I correct it?

It never happens when you are there? Only when you leave the system alone for some time?

Normally, Windows can not change display sizes without a specific command to do so, which also involves selecting the sizes desired.

What programs do you leave running when you leave the system?

I frequently have Word, Quicken, Windows Live Mail, and MSW Calendar running. Sometimes also Excel and MSW Data Base. Does this help?

Sorry to be facetious Strathmore. This sounds very strange. Have you never seen it happening when you are just sat there? If not try sitting there and not touching anything for a few minutes.:)

Change the screensaver and see if it still happens. Some switch resolution and fail to switch back.

Not really. Do you use a screensaver?
