Black screen?? No idea really whats happening...

I have been having my monitor go black, like windows is shutting down/restarting by itself which i've had happen. However after many minutes there has been no shutdown or restart, and postcode LCD on board keeps reading CPU temp which it only does when in an OS, so I assume windows is still there somewhere. I really do not know why my screen is black all of a sudden. It seems to do it randomly. I thought it had to do with the hard drives at first because I had problems with them in the past, but freezes not monitor power-downs. I got a new mouse recently and considered that( trying my old mouse now to see what happens). I've reinstalled windows a few times and the same thing happens. I now wonder if it is my graphics card or monitor drivers? This is a different monitor from what i've been using in the past(my old LG died about a month ago), I never install monitor drivers, let windows use whatever it wants, so I shal go check that, but doubt it will do anything. Any verification of my thoughts, or thoughts on this will be appreciated!

The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Harddisk3\DR3. was logged many times ID 11

Windows detected your registry file is still in use by other applications or services. The file will be unloaded now. The applications or services that hold your registry file may not function properly afterwards.
    DETAIL -
1 user registry handles leaked from \Registry\User\S-1-5-21-147162224-151243612-1916347488-1000_Classes:
    Process 2184 (\Device\HarddiskVolume3\Windows\System32\WUDFHost.exe) has opened key \REGISTRY\USER\S-1-5-21-147162224-151243612-1916347488-1000_CLASSES

    ID 1530

These both relate to the same disk, which is my SSD. The warning happened right before the latest black screen, others happened with no black screen though. Maybe it matters what profile is causing the error? googling this info now, what i've found so far isnt very helpful for solving this

Check your power configuration and make sure that it isn't set to turn off the display after x number of minutes. Also check that it isn't set to use a blank screen saver.

Its not set to that and even if it were I could still get it back on by clicking a variety of things. This problem happens while I am using my computer as well, so it wouldn't be turning off after x minutes.
