Hotkey to shutdown immediately ?

Pressing the Windows key will take you directly to the start menu, and you can shut down there.

There are various other key combinations which will shut down immediately, but whether they work correctly depends on how you have things set up.

This is one;

Press the Windows Key <Win> and then release it. Press the Right Arrow key < -> > . Now press <Enter>

Using a single key to send this command sequence is not advisable, as there is too much chance of one hitting it accidentally.

Have you tried holding down your winkey then pressing F4 > Enter....

Alt + F4 closes any open window... By default

Mike,I'm sure you can even make it an icon on the desktop...What do you think..

If you prefer it, you can save that command sequence as a batch file. Pressing the Icon will shutdown Windows immediately.

I also see you don't need 00 you can just use 0 ,, -R (restart) ,, -I (Log off.)

Just copy & paste mike's code in a shortcut on your desktop...
