Hi i accidentally changed a type of files open with and now i cant change them back how do I reset the open with list

Hello Sc0038, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You can download and merge the REG file in the tutorial below for the file extension that you changed to restore it's default associations.

Hi

it didnt really help there arent any errors I tried to open a file with something else and forgot to uncheck "always open this kind of program with this" and so when i did that it turned things like internet explorer and steam and itunes and other programs to open with that how do i reset it to the original open with?

It sounds like you may need to download and merge the lnk (LNK) and exe options in the same tutorial above.
