    Hmm that's odd.

Ok, try Option 2 of this tutorial; System Repair Disc - Create to Create a System Repair disk, boot that to get to the Recovery Console, and then try Method 2 again.

Or do you mean you've managed to enable the hidden Admin account, but it's just not showing?

i reset my windows 7 password using ubuntu disk , load ubuntu up go to places , computer , c drive where win7 is installed , locate system32 go into that then find utilman.exe rename it to utilman.exe.old then find cmd.exe in the system32 folder cop it to the desktop , rename it to utilman.exe and place it back in the system32 folder , then restart into windows 7 when the password screen is up , click on ease of access in the bottom left corner it will bring a cmd screen up then type net user then net user ' account name ' and a * and hit enter twice , then just press enter in the password section , this worked for me , then create another password

edit : oh you fixxed it lol well this is another way :)

Woops, sorry about that, technical difficulties with my brain there

Option 2 of the tutorial I posted before should sort that for you, through the elevated command prompt
