    Hi there
    the OP has Home Premium I think which is why I suggested using vmware player or vbox + a 32 bit W7 install as a complete VM.

    XP mode as others have stated only works with Professional / Ultimate / Enterprise editions of W7.

    Sorry, I forgot about XP Mode not being available in Home Premium.

    I would recommend Oracle VirtualBox then. I have it installed with the following clients (just wanted to see if they would work).

    Windows 98SE
    Windows XP Pro
    Ubuntu Linux 10
    Linux Mint
    Windows 7 Ultimate X86

Hello all :-) Have just got myself a 1TB Samsung HDD, Lovely. What I`d like to know is when I reformat from FAT32 to NTFS should I use the 64bit format or 32bit? I`m fairly sure I wasn`t dreaming when I noticed the option? If it is possible, can I use 64bit format with 32bit OS and if so...
OS: Win 7 64bit. Is it generally not a problem to choose to install a piece of 32bit software outside the win 7 default program folder for 32bit software? Or is 32bit software only supposed to be running flawlessly, if installed in that default 32bit folder? Thanks.
