Compressing directories - security issue

    PS: I really am entirely comfortable leaving this as a mystery until the final version comes out.... but I thank you for your help in any case!

    you are more then welcome.. thats what a community for for :)..

    u could try upgrading to one of the builds that leaked after 7100
    and see if the issue is fixed in one of the later builds..

    Thanks and I will upgrade to a a later build ASAP. But at the same time I wanna say, as someone who has criticized Vista bitterly, that if this is the biggest problem they have with 7, they aren't doing badly at all.

    Anyway I will try compressing one file and let you know what happens...

    you are welcome again.. o just FYI RC users CAN upgrade to finial RTM
    as long as its activated..

    cept RC 1 will be put into windowsold folder just like an XP upgrade..
    but you CAN use windows file transfer to git most if not ALL you settings and installed things back..


    and i know what you mean they are doing DAMN good.. go Balmer xD
