Thanks Shawn. I don't want to sound ungrateful, but that takes me quite a bit longer than dragging to a folder, then deleting the original - especially if the folder I want to move to is right next to it, and the Explorer window shows deeply embedded folders (as a lot of mine are).

If you right click properties of both the paste file and original file and compare both of the file size shown there, if both are the same does it mean that the paste file is properly copy over?

I'm sharing a folder with other PCs on the network and it works fine, except in this case: 1. file in D:\folder1\ (normal folder) 2. move file to D:\folder2\ (shared folder) 3. file not visible from other PCs Why is that? Any solutions?
