character map copy
When I click on copy on character map it doesn't work. I want to copy the frown face, but it doesn't work. Ariel and courier new works. Windings doesn't work and other symbols doesn't work like windings symbols.

Yes, I saw that, but the windings symbols doesn't copy the frown one that is.

Is there a Keystroke in the lower right of the character map window for your selected character?
EDIT:No there issn't
This is what I get by copying the same thing

Ah, ok. Since there is not a keystroke available for it, you would need to have your font selected as "Wingdings" in whatever your are trying to copy this Wingdings symbol into.
See if you may be able to copy and paste it from below.
If so, this is how it's done to display as above:
NOTE: Substitute { } for [] when actually used.
{FONT=Wingdings}X{/FONT}
Next, right click on X and past the selected "Wingdings" symbol from Character Map.

I'm not sure if you will be able to at Facebook or not.
You could use the old texting way for a sad face like below.
