Yep, I love it. I had a dual boot with Vista for a while, but now that the RTM is out I got rid of Vista. I ran them side by side and I'll never go back. Windows 7 all the way!

The only negative I can really see at the minute is for COD4, Punkbuster will not run on Windows 7. The game runs so smoothly but Punkbuster say they will not support a BETA OS (Even though it was in RC, now RTM.)

once that's sorted, it will be perfect :)

I just like the appearance...didn't really notice much in the transition from Vista Home Premium 32 bit > Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Yep. Will purchase and install Win7 when released.

However, I may dual boot with XP for a while for games in general or just some games.

Honestly, I do wish I would have waited and not purchased Vista (nothing wrong with vista, I like Vista, just would have saved me some money), but, it gave me a huge head start on knowing 7.

Incidentally, RC is still considered Beta. And RTM just went RTM, so it will take time for them to code for it, and get something out, probably after Shelf Release, maybe before.

This is another reason why I say, people who are having problems and whining about 7 need to just wait till they can install the final Gold Shelf Release, as a lot of the problems will probably be fixed then. Unless you are running the final Leaked RTM code. And then remember, it has only just gone RTM, so you need to give 3rd parties time to get code out.

    libraries and etc

    Love the Libraries!

I really like the way Media Player is directly linked to the libraries and by removing or adding folders to your libraries in explorer affects MP rather than you having to go into tools/options/library/add to library/[path here] or whatever. Nice and easy.

really bummed out about no guest mode though, that feature could've came in handy if it had only been given a chance to breathe Early versions though were really buggy, perhaps too buggy for MS to continue developing instead of focusing on more important features and overall stability and speed. I would rather have a stable feature complete and speedy operating system than a mediocre one with a feature like guest mode.

In addition, MS really needs to include features that make the pricey Ultimate more desirable. I can think of one (RD concurrent sessions) right off the bat that would be VERY easy to integrate; in fact, it is one of those things Windows has had the capability of doing since XP but MS intentionally crippled its own OS against doing so.

I love it so far, my only complaint is I have my main monitor running in 1024x768 and everytime I plug in my tv using hdmi my main monitor starts flickering.

Not sure if its a windows 7 problem or a driver issue.
