is it worth updating from Vista SP2?

Not sure whether to clean install now, or wait to see if any other builds 'rear' their heads...
7600 is the final build of Windows 7 (I was wrong about this, it's in fact not the final build). The differences between the RTM and the GA releases have only to do with licensing.

The next build to be released will be 7 SP1.

EDIT: 7600 is apparently not RTM. You're wiser than I, but when RTM is released, it's final...my apologies

its not vista, its Windows 7, shouldnt the logo change?
Does not matter, the topic of the thread is "what has changed" not "what should change" or "what has not changed".

Maybe the orb is for Windows, not necessarily Vista. This way it's a reusable object that will save them from having to pay an artist enormous amounts of money to create a new logo for every new Windows version. The money savings will be passed on to us the faithful customers ...

I just discovered a big improvement (from 7232) in dual monitor support. Certain applications on the right-hand monitor had child windows open flush to the left edge of the right monitor no matter where you placed them horizontally. They now open where you put them. Similarly some context / right-click menus would open just left of the right monitor's left edge, now open by the mouse on the right monitor.
