No pass field

Hello everyone! After fresh instalation of Windows 7 there is no logon screen with password field and i'm sure i had it before with no password set. I've tried everything: netplwiz, tried to create another account, turn on Guest and there is only screen with users account but there is no password field after i click on my account. I repet, i'm sure i had it before. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

A fresh install will not have a logon screen unless you setup your account with a password.

I'm telling you i didn't set pass on a previously installed Windows 7 and there was a welcome screen with blank password field. I had a second account for my son (parental control) but without pass. I'm not crazy, i know there was a welcome screen with a blank password screen and i had to press ENTER to logon. Thanks

When you only have one account, the password prompt normally is not there if you did not set a password when you did the install.

Set up another account and then you will see the 2 accounts on the logon screen.

Thanks for you reply Rich . I have second account and there is a logon screen - "Logon1" (see attachments) like this, after i click on my account there is no second screen with password blank field like it was before - "Logon2 (see attachments). I had it on a previously installed Windows 7 and i know what i'm talking about, even if i didn't set a password. I use my comp every day and i'm more than sure that here was a second logon screen, i had to press Enter 2 times to logon...

Bazil, It looks like no one has an answer to your question. If what you have is working, then I suggest that
you move on and try some other things. I am not sure that your question is really stated properly,

Are you really saying that you want your logon screen to prompt you twice for a blank password?

From what you're saying, I take it as the following:

You do not want a password to be set, but you still want the password box to show, where you type in the password. My guess this is a trick so other people using the PC think you have a password set?

The only instance where I've seen this is if you're on a domain with a User ID, no password set. Then you would just be able to log on without using any password.

I'm on Windows 7 ultimate and when I use the command netplwiz, I have "Users enter a user name and password to use this computer" checked off. I have no password set. When windows boots, I just click on my username.
