    Did you use diskpart clean command or clean all? If you used the clean command then others have given you several possible tools to recover your data.

    The sum of $4000US is not unreasonable for critical data recovery. I would give Data Recovery India - Hard Disk Drive Data Recovery Services Bangalore a call and see how much they want. Hope it helps.

    PC World offer a data recovery service, i think the price isnt too bad either.

    Other than that it looks like you will need to use a recovery application as mentioned above.

    If you used Diskpart Clean All then data is not recoverable.

    That is the point of using Clean All command, so why would you use it?

    I think that is just regular recovery methods you could do yourself - from their site:

    If your files are too damaged to rescue using normal means we will recommend specialist lab recovery.

    I suggest you try a free demo of this:

    http://data-recovery-software-review...ue-review.html

    or this;

    Data Recovery Software to Undelete Files; Disk recovery; Recover Deleted Files

    Run it first to see if it finds your files.

    If it does find them ( unlikely ) then you can pay for the program and try recovering them.

    At least then you have tried.

    Otherwise, you need a specialist data recovery company which will be expensive.

    i have bigg problem by mistak my external hard disk formatted by clean and clean so plsss help me how to recover my all file is insaid now whn i connet the pc its detecting hard disk but not showing its connecting pls help me friends
    In case you have used diskpart to clean the stuff of the hard drive, recovery chances are alive. Chk, if you have an update and valid backup of the files, format the partition of the hard drive and use the backup. Otherwise you can also make use of third party hard disk recovery software.

    There are several factors which lead into deletion or corruption of files from Hard disk. It may happen either due to virus infection or may be due to some other sort of reasons. If you had taken the backup copy of that file then you can easily resolve the problem but in case if it is not available then in that circumstances you have to take help of third party hard disk recovery software.
