    Helping the Stupid

So, since my searchfu seems to not be with me, I thought I'd seek advice on my biggest concern with windows 7: Shutting down.

I'm an IT Guy, and as such, avoid the mouse as much as possible. Key strokes are infinitely faster. However, I've found myself in a bind now: I can't do my classic "Hit the windows key, press u, then bash enter three times" to shut down. It doesn't work. Is anyone aware of a similarly easy method shutting down?

Or hit the power button on the computer...modern computer initiate a shutdown when you push the power button.

Installing something isn't terribly feasible, and when you've 30-40 machines that you need to shut down in rapid order (and don't have any money for management software that'll let you shut them all down remotely), keyboard shortcuts are God.

Thank you, everyone, for your input. I'll most likely simply use the arrow shortcut first suggested.

Hmmmmm, for me, this just takes me to the 'Lock' icon in the Start Menu. To progress to the Shut Down command, I press the Windows Key + hit the Right-Arrow key 3 times.

Umm... that's what the OP wanted to accomplish.
