    lost restored files


    i just accidentally deleted my entire catalouge of movies and games from utorrent to the recycle bin. I then entered the recycle bin and restored each of emediatly. I cannot find even 1 of those supposedly 'restored' files anywhere on my hard drive. I know the files are there somwhere due to the amount of space left on my hard drive. i have searched every whre i can think of. If i dont find them i have lost 15 gb of space on my hd because i cannot even delete them plus the torrentz

    whre have these files gone ?

    Try something like spacesniffer to find them.

    SpaceSniffer, find lost disk space the easy way.

    Its amazinging. found so many records of old garbage just backing up my pc.

I restored several PhotoShop files (.pvm) to a new HP computer running Windows 7. After I re installed PhotoShop 4.0, it couldn't read the .pvm files. Answers on web to problem centered on cleaning the registry, but many posts on this forum strongly warn against that. Any ideas?

I used Windows Restore to restore files from a different computer (old computer crashed) now the new computer is not genuine and it wont accept any Windows 7 key. Also, all previous restore points are missing.
Lost files when restored from recycle bin

I am wondering if anyone else has had the issue of when restoring multiple large files from recycle bin some of them are restored and some are lost or deleted? has happened when i tried to restore 15 avi files of about 700mb from the recycle bin if i remember correctly i think this happened...
