Restore Default Libraries NOT working

Hi everyone,

I hope this is the right place to post this problem...

I own a Gateway Desktop PC which runs Windows 7 Home Premium x64bit.

I had to restore it to it's default factory settings a few days ago as it was playing up severely and a system restore did not work etc...

I was downloading some Windows Updates and after the updates installed and I restarted my PC, when I logged back in and clicked the Windows Explorer tab down the bottom... the folders in Libraries were gone (Documents, Music, Pictures, Videos) and the "Restore Default Libraries" does not work.
I did an internet search to try and find a solution and came across a thread on here somewhere where Brink was speaking to people about it and there were a few tutorials... I tried them but nothing seemed to work for me...

Just wondering if anyone can help in getting the Libraries back??

Thanks heaps!

See if shutting down, then turning back on, brings the Libraries back.

Here's a .reg file to turn the Libraries pane back on, if still no luck Library Pane - Turn On or Off

Shutting down and restarting my PC doesn't bring the libraries back and I am confused with the tutorial you sent me... I did option 1 and 2... it just takes away the heading at the top of Windows Explorer "Libraries - Open a library to see if your files and arrange them by folder, date, and other properties" - but keeps the "Library" folder on the left hand side in the list. It doesn't bring the Libraries back at all.
