| | Why am I having problems with windows installer Hi there, I have recently been having problems with windows installer which has gradually got worse. When ever I insert a dvd or cd into my drive it starts up then hangs before saying not responding. I did a system restore as I thought I may have installed something that could have conflicted with it but still the problem persists. The drive works when i watch a dvd or listen to music and only plays up when windows installer is needed. Can anyone give me any help on this as it's very frustrating, I have updated all the drivers in device manager and still the problem. thank you in advance CityLady |
