schtasks.exe "Error: Access is denied"
I am trying to enable my son playing his "Steam" games as administrators without giving him administrator rights...
I found a nice article describing how to create a Scheduler Task and then a shortcut to that task but it does not work when logged in as a standard user.
So, if I logon as administrator and run "schtasks.exe /run /tn MyTask", it's fine.
If I try this as a standard user, I get "ERROR: Access is denied"
I tried to grant that user "Login as batch job" but that does not seem to have made much difference...
However, I am no expert in Windows 7 and I am not 100% sure that my policy grant is effective... I rebooted just in case but still no joy.
