    Stupid question time

Can you upgrade from 32bit to 64bit windows 7 system ?
    ie build x86 7264 to 7600 16384 090710-1945 x64fre client en-us Retail Ultimate
Or does it have to be clean install ?

was wondering as i've never run a x64 bit system before and wanted to have a go at it.

    Hi Andy,

The only way to go from 32-bit to 64-bit (or vice-versa) is with a clean install.
