How does it looks like and how do I use Explores Classic Shell?

How does Explores Classic Shell looks like? Does it looks like previous Windows XP File Explorer?
    Welcome to Classic Shell

As there apepars more and more essential functions missing in Windows 7, I just installed onto Windows 7 a Classic shell Explorer 3.1 (not a Start menu or IE9)
I checked accordingly Classic shell home page FAQ what to do if:
What to do when Classic Explorer doesn't show up?

But how do I know that it doesn't show up? How does Explores Classic Shell looks like?
I don't notice anything new in File Explorer - still selection is lost when I sort files from column header and there

New is only W7 missed status bar - now I can see how big is content of a folder and how much spare room is on the destination drive.

I don't understand what do you mean.
The Folder Option is in every Windows 7 machine I guess and is missing all advanced settings of previous Windows XP Explorer.
If you click the link in first post, there is an Explores Classic Shell, an independent Explorer addon which tries to restore Windows 7 Explorer lost functionality.

I clicked your link, I've never heard of the program before that time. Nothing is missing in Win7, bbut it is not XP. What specifically do you want a folder to do?

If it problems, ask Ivo . Here is one of his threads : ANN: new Classic Shell versions 1.0.3 and 1.9.0 .

EDIT : Probably this one is the latest : ANN: Classic Shell 2.9.3 is out - Now with Search!

I work a lot with files - photos, movies and wave. Folders with content 20MB - 20GB. Windows XP Explorer offered a status bar to know how big is the folder and how much spare space is left on the disk. Windows 7 is missing this function and I have to ask each time how big is the folder and then go to My Computer panel to see how much space is left on destination disk. In Windows XP I could select images by type and then sort by name - Windows 7 doesn't provide this functionality.
I'm sorry, but IMO present Windows 7 look more like an operating system for a TV then one for a professional workstation, while last obviously isn't MS direction, as likely 99% of computer users are happy with W7 as it's now.

Sorry, you must have had a 3rd party plugin. I have not seen a status bar which gave disk info on a destination.
Have you tried any of the ideas?

I'm sorry to confess but after reading, I still don't understand purpose of "Info Extended for Explorer W7"
But it feels like nothing to do with my problem.
