    Laptop stuck in boot mode?

My windows 7 toshiba laptop wont get past a screen that says

    Intel UNDI, PXE-2.1 (build 082)
    Copyright (C) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation

    For Realtek RTL8101E/8102E PCI-E Ethernet Controller v1.07 (080320)
    PXE-E61:Media test failure,check cable
    PXE-M0F:Exiting PXE ROM.
No bootable device--insert boot disk and press any key"

The problem is I dont have a boot disk and i cant get past this screen.
P.S. it happens when i turn it on, it goes to a black screen saying that.
    Can anyone please help me

It looks like it's trying to boot from a LAN connection -- and failing when it can't find one.

Have you tried going into the BIOS setup and confirm that it has the local hard drive as the first boot option?

A reset to defaults in the BIOS should put your HDD before a PXE boot.

I hate to say it but it sounds like you may have a failed Hard Drive. Does your boot menu offer a diagnostic of any kind ??
