| | External HDD Good day This is my first time on here,I have an external hdd which I no longer need so my mate said that he will buy it from me,Now the question is what is the best way to make sure that the drive is clean all my info is erased?.Is that possible?. Thanks. |

| | Selling it to a friend a full format should suffice, i doubt they will try to gather any of your info. They just need an extra hdd |

| Windows 7 Ultimate x64/Windows 8 Consumer Preview x64/Ubuntu 11.04 Somewhere Over The Rainbow | Arc makes really good signatures. I'm sure he could help you. And you could always quick format the hard drive. It's much, much easier than using an external program and it does the job nearly as good. |
