    Colors are off

I used the color calibration months ago, and I'm tired of having the wrong colors showing on the screen (mainly images).

    Here's a summary:
    yellow looks light green
    light red looks light brown
    purple appears too light
    blue appears too light
    green appears light blue
    grey and pink look right

Is there anything I can do?

    the usual

check your video driver, check all the connections to be sure seated correctly, etc.

    Is this OS newly installed?

    System Specs?

Did this always happen or just start? etc

Make sure the color profile you made is being loaded as the system default. Hit the windows key, type "color" and click on "Color Management". Go to the Advanced tab and click the "Change System Defaults..." button. Select your monitor and set the default profile there. Under the initial color management screen, make sure your profiles are set to use system defaults. If you've selected the right profile and you know it's been loaded into the video card, make sure your video card's drivers are up to date. Also, it's a possibility that your calibration process didn't pan out properly and you have an invalid profile to begin with.

All related drivers seem correctly installed and updated. Windows 7 came with the computer last fall. The computer worked great (at least compared to now) before March, when I went throught the color calibration at the direction of an instructor for viewing class videos. Those videos looked fine, but all videos and images since then haven't, and I don't remember what I did to change it in the first place.
