Could you explain in a bit more detail what the problem is? I'm not sure I understand... perhaps a screenshot or something extra, too?

has this just started or has it been happening for some time ,have you tried a reeboot, also try open task manager select "new task" type explorer.exe click ok then see if that helps.

It's worth trying a *clean* restart of Explorer- type TSKILL EXPLORER into the Start/Search box and hit return?

I have tried 1Bowtie's suggestion again but all I managed to pull across the screen Is a short-cut of drive C. boohbah. It has been doing this for a while now,I Tried as you suggested "new task" but this also get's stuck on the task bar also. Oaken. I did as you wanted and this also got stuck on the task bar, Thank you all for your suggestions I will try them all until we succeed.

Hi John, from your Problem Steps info it looks like the window has gone off-screen.

Open one instance of Explorer. Then whilst holding down the shift key, right click the Explorer taskbar icon and the System Menu should pop up. Next click on Move, and use the keyboard arrow keys/mouse to move the Window back to a suitable position on-screen.
