Non-Evaluation copy?

    Non-Evaluation copy?


    When i installed 7600-1385 i run "winver" and there is nothing stating its an evaluation copy, and it has no expiration date. Is this an "unlimited build"?

    No, you 30 days to enter a key or rearm it. It is under System Properties.

    No, its not an unlimited version. You will have 30 days and then you will have to use the rearm command to extend functionality for an additional 30 days. You will be able to do this 3 times for a total of 120 days.

    it can activate with previous patch, but the expired time periode will be back.

    it has no expiration date because you have not activated it.
    RC keys does`nt work so rearm windows after every 28th or 29 day.
    You can rearm it for three times only..

I down loaded IE9 which failed miserably. Cant recover to old version. The problem was I had to download and run WindowsActivationUpdate.exe My vesion of windows is genuine but now I have Windows evaluation copy text on my desktop and no way of validating to remove it.

Hello everyone, till now i was using Evaluation copy, Build 7100 of windows 7. now i have the full released version. i want to know how can i convert my current evaluation copy to permanent copy and still maintain all my current data and settings. i tried changing the key, but it didn't work......

I have a friend who has currently XP SP3 on his system, he is thinking about upgrading to WIN 7 but would like to try it before he buys it. Is there any place he can download an evaluation copy to try? TIA Steve
I am getting win7 Ultimate (it should be in the mail right now), I install the win7 evaluation copy with a build I did back in the summer & installed win7 evaluation copy with a clean install. Now I want to do another clean install to get rid of the junk I have collected over the last couple months...
