Can i upgrad from 7100 to 7600 ? if yes how can i make this ?
yes you can by simply inserting the win 7 dvd and start the setup. select the Upgrade button when asked for the type of installation.
but its recommended that you do a clean install for maximum performance.
Download the ISO as you did previously and burn the ISO to a DVD.
Copy the whole image to a storage location you wish to run the upgrade from (a bootable flash drive or a directory on any partition on the machine running the pre-release build).
Browse to the sources directory.
Open the file cversion.ini in a text editor like Notepad.
Modify the MinClient build number to a value lower than the down-level build. For example, change 7233.0 to 7000.0.
Save the file in place with the same name.
Run setup like you would normally from this modified copy of the image and the version check will be bypassed.
Can I install Icon Packs designed for Build 7600 to Build 7601?
An Icon Pack was saying install on to 7600 only and after I checked my regedit, I learned that I have 7601 (Probably SP1, I don't know).
Would I have any problems if I install the icon pack?
Thanks.
i downloaded the build 7600 in the 32bit form and when i try to install it on my computer it finishes to where it restarts to enter user name and so on... but it just keeps restarting at the animation of the windows icon any help please?
SO I HAVE UPGRADED FROM 7100 TO 7232 AND FINALLY TO 7600.
I USED THE PRODUCT KEY FOR 7100 AND THE SAME ONE FOR 7232, BUT IT DIDNT ACCEPT IT FOR 7600. NONETHELESS I HAVE COMPLETED THE INSTALLATION AND HAVVE SHUT DWN AND REBOOTED A NUMBER OF TIMES, SO I EXPECT I AM GOOD TO GO EXCEPT DUH WHAT...
