Is there a specific reason you need to know the total file size of files in the recycle bin?
Or do like Zigzag said, take them back out and then you can see the size.
Shows individual and total size for me at the bottom, just selecting the files. No right clicking needed. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Airbot 2.0 OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Core i7 920 (D0) @ 4Ghz, *26c idle *65c full load on air Motherboard Asus P6X58D Premium - Sata 6Gb/s - USB 3.0 Memory 12GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator -CMD12GX3M6A1600C8 at 1600MHz Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 -Aftermaket Accelero Xtreme Plus cooler Sound Card ASUS Xonar D2X Monitor(s) Displays 1 LG 24" Flatron W2453V-PF 1 Samsung 24" P2450H both 2ms RT Screen Resolution 1920x1080@60hz Keyboard Logitech Wireless MK700 Mouse Logitech Wireless MK700 PSU Corsair HX1000W Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Cooling Case Fans *3 230mm, *1 140mm/CPU - *Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Hard Drives 1 OCZ Vertex2 180GB SSD

Quote: Strange. Mine does . See screenshot.... This is pretty odd - and I think a bit buggy. Mine did not display the total space either. So I played with the view settings and only when I select the "Tile" option did I see the total space consumed. And very oddly, if an Internet shortcut was included (highlighted) then the total was not displayed. Deselect the Internet shortcut, and the total (less the shortcut) was displayed again. Very odd. So you might try deselecting, or purging any Internet shortcuts first, then see if it works.
I think I will report it to MS. The more that do, the more likely it will be addressed. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number BrightWorks Systems B4 OS Windows 7 Profession 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7-860 Quad Motherboard Gigabyte P55-UD4P Memory Mushkin 4x2Gb PC12800 Graphics Card Gigabyte GTX260 896Mb Sound Card Integrated 7.1 HD Dolby Monitor(s) Displays 2 Samsung 2220wm-HAS 22" Screen Resolution 1680 x 1050 | 1680 x 1050 Keyboard MS Wireless Comfort 5000 Mouse MS Wireless 5000 PSU Corsair TX-750W Case Ultra M998 Cooling OEM Hard Drives WD HE 1Tb Internet Speed Cable and pretty darn fast |

Yeah. I only had 6 things in there because I decluttered a couple days ago. Luckily, one was an Internet shortcut. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number BrightWorks Systems B4 OS Windows 7 Profession 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7-860 Quad Motherboard Gigabyte P55-UD4P Memory Mushkin 4x2Gb PC12800 Graphics Card Gigabyte GTX260 896Mb Sound Card Integrated 7.1 HD Dolby Monitor(s) Displays 2 Samsung 2220wm-HAS 22" Screen Resolution 1680 x 1050 | 1680 x 1050 Keyboard MS Wireless Comfort 5000 Mouse MS Wireless 5000 PSU Corsair TX-750W Case Ultra M998 Cooling OEM Hard Drives WD HE 1Tb Internet Speed Cable and pretty darn fast file size of files in recycle bin problems?
