    oops

Ok, I seem to have broken mine, let's see if I can get any suggestions.

I am using an MSI Wind that came with XP. When I saw all the people who had successfully installed OSX on their Winds, I decided I should do this as well. The Darwin botloader then took over for startup.

I then decided that two OSes weren't enough, so I installed Windows 7 last night.

Unfortunately, I don't think that it recognized the Darwin bootloader properly....I don't get a boot menu, I don't see any other OSes under msconfig, and I can't get EasyBCD to recognize anything either.

Anyone have any ideas how to rebuild the bootloaders for the other OSes? Or is it even possible? (I could deal with wiping them out since I can copy my data files from XP to Win7 and I don't really have anything in OSX anyway)

    Thanks for any suggestions

from within Windows 7, msconfig is not for editing bootloader settings, you should use the commandline tool BCDEDIT
Idk how to use it, even though, i know thats what its for :)

I can't even boot from my OSX disc :S, Thats unfair

Uh if you are trying to tri-boot OSX, Windows XP and Windows 7.

Try installing Windows XP first, then Windows 7, then OS X (I recommend iDeneb).

Then use Chameleon 2 RC3 as a bootloader. Should all work then and the boot loader will be pretty.

(just realized this wasn't even his thread!)

Again the answer to your question is simple:

    1. Make sure XP is your Primary Boot..
it is much easier that way.
