    Hello Kevin,

This may be able to help. You would use the same location as in the tutorial below. :)

    Run Command - Create Shortcut

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

Already try to use the .lnk file doesn't work. Need the real file location. "exe" location.

Sorry for posting it on the wrong fourm. Thanks for moving...

May I ask why do you ask this question ?
Is it because you want to either add or remove the Run option in the Start menu ?
If so, please follow this ....

Right click at Start button > Properties > Start Menu tab > Customize > scroll down to find Run Command ( mine is after Recorded TV heading) >
check to add to the Start Menu
un-check to remove from the Start Menu
    > OK > Apply/OK

This is why I'm asking for this.

I'm wanting to add run to the main right-click context menu.

The Shortcut .lnk doesn't work when I enter it in the Registry

I know I can access it in Accessories and the Start Menu and WIN KEY + R

    RUN...-context.jpg

This is where I want it. That's why I need the file path. Been looking all over for it.

There is no EXE that is RUN. Its merely a shell extension to Explorer.
Should notice it goes though rundll32.exe and is part of shell32.dll.
