Creating shortcuts to folders built into OS

Need to create a shortcut to games folder in windows 7 Home premium? Have done it only once before and cant remember how to, pretty avg for a techy lol. Can someone please help me?

Maybe I don't understand what you want to do, but you should be able to right click the folder and under sent to select desktop (as shortcut). Is that what you were asking?
