wat cud b the problem ??? three beep sounds inside CPU

    hi dears,

yesterday whn i was using the computer my system restarted twice... i didnt give that much importance... but after sometimes my system hangs... i pressed alt+ctrl+del... but my system not responded... so i decided to turn off the system by pressing UPS button.. i did that... after 2 minutes i restarted system again.. but i heard three beep sound was coming inside from the CPU and my display was not turning on... i tried restarting my system several times by turning UPS button on and off... same problem persisted... but today when i turned on my system, its working... dears, wat cud b the problem ???

N.B: this same problem is happened twice before.. (as my computer service man cleaned the CPU inside and told me that the dust particles might b the problem) (now my system is dust free as it was cleaned before two days)

Hi, since you had given me detailed specs of your system, I could look this up in your motherboard's manual. This indicates a problem with your memory.

    http://download.intel.com/support/mo...9801001_en.pdf (page 57)

You might want to take out the memory modules and re-insert them. The issue could just be that they became loose after the maintenance. In the worst case, your memory is corrupted, and you need to get new memory.

    Hope this helps!

On re-reading the manual, it seems that you get three beeps even for a video card issue. Please clean your video card again (blow air using a hair dryer or something into the video card fan), and try rebooting.
