    System Icons?


    Where can I find all the system icons? Like this: .

    Hello Handycam,

    Most of them are located in the C:\Windows\System32\imageres.dll and C:\Windows\System32\shell32.dll files.

    You can install the program IconViewer, then right click on these files and click on Properties, and Icons tab. Select the icon you want, then select which size and file type (ex: ICO, BMP, or PNG) you want to save it as.

    Sorry again, I need a JPEG or PNG image of that. The ones I found were icon files.

    also you can try this program
    it opens dll, exe, etc files and lets you extract them in a variety of formats (jpg, png, etc)
    as far as im aware it works with windows 7.
