Main account corrupt cannot login need help please

Ok short story I got a BSOD caused by my nvidia card in a game.

I rebooted and then boot device not found oh oh.

All hdds present but had to fix boot order in bios, somehow it changed.

Now windows boots but I cannot login.

    Account is locked out error.

Admininistrator account not avilable to use.

I press f8 on boot and choose repair option.

    command prompt

It accepts my account details to get me to repair stuff.

If I type net users on the emergency command prompt it only shows Administrator and guest, not my normal account.

I set Administrator to active and assign it a password but on normal reboot again its not available.

    any ideas?

using a system restore doesnt fix problem.

    Ok weird.

I added a test account in the emergency prompt and was gambling it be in Admin group not users group.

    Rebooted

test wasnt there but main account now works.

net users once logged in shows admin guest and my account but no test O_o

Seems I was controlling accounts of the emergency OS or something.

Were you able to access hidden Admin account and create accounts as desired from there which functioned correctly - it's not exactly clear? If not, you may have infection or corrupt System files.

Run a full Malwarebytes scan, from Safe Mode if necessary.

    Then run SFC -SCANNOW Command.

yes the admin account existed but was disabled, when I enabled after and logged out it now shows on the login screen, I left guest disabled.

I would create a new Admin-level account in User Accounts, then rehide the hidden Admin account. Save it for emergencies such as this one.
